The Power of Thought - Life´s Advice

Good morning, to whoever is reading (L)
It's not 11 am still and Winter is showing itself.
It's freezing now, but nothing that a good cup of tea
(Or hot chocolate) can't solve! ;D

The topic I decided to approach today is Thinking Patterns
We all tend to think now and then a bit negative.
However, that can be harmful not only for ourselves,
But for the ones who live with the person nearly everyday
And also, for our health.

Thought is a very powerful tool
And CAN have a great impact in our lives!
SO, be careful with what you do and/or wish for.
If you see or notice that your thinking pattern
Is holding you back from achieving your goals
Or holding you back from having healthy relationships
With your friends, family or your better half,

Then it is time to think and reconsider.

Notice : The change of a thinking pattern is not instant.
It requires time, patience, faith and will.

Then you MUST ask yourself and consider these points:
1. * What do I want for me?

2. * What do I want to be attracted to me?
(As in goals, purpuse, energy, any area of your life
It is called the Law Of Attraction)

3. * Time is an ally and God is healer.
And if you do not believe in God, you can be your own healer.

4. * What has been holding me back from achieving what I want and desire?

5. * Now and then get some time for yourself. And rest.
Not resting can result on not apreciating as well YOUR day.
Because there is a new day, everyday,
Starting from the moment you open your eyes.
There is a chance for CHANGE and there is a chance for RENEWAL.

Negative words aren't allowed in thoughts, nor writtings.
What you think may be attracted to you.
You can start for example, writting in a notebook the best times of your life.
The joyful, playful moments. Any that aren't in those categories, aren't allowed.

School - Strategies for Study

Good afternoon , everyone!
First of all, allow me to say (or justify) the cause for my absence:
After some time working for few companies, my temporary contract ended.
I was unemployed then.

With the help of one friend, I knew about a teaching institution here in my country.
It was a wise option (in my eyes) so I tried it!
After some tests and two interviews I was approved and called to start the course!
HOW COOL IS THAT?!
I am willing to go until the end with this course as I have fought to earn a place here.

The trick is to be motivated and truly believe you want to be in that course,
In that job and reflect that positive thought and atittude to the ones around you.
The chances of entering will surely increase!

As for strategies to study I have some tips for you.
Some are good. some might even work out just for me.
You can even adapt them for yourself.

1. The place : I can either study at a noisy place (with headphones on)
Or a more peaceful one.
However, my advice would be to search for a peaceful and quiet place.

2. Organize.
Whether it is a folder or a notebook or even files on your computer
containing .docx word files with each discipline, a great start is to have each discipline separated,
Then separated per lessons
(One to ten, Eleven to Twenty OR One to Five , Six to Eleven and so on...)
Use the tactic that you find that helps you the most.

3. Highlight the most important parts of each new subject, with a bright marker or pen.
That way can help you with learning and knowing all the things that you need before each test/exam.

4. Use keywords.
Some can memorize by using similar words.
It helps to remember, later on.

5. Pay attention to class.
Talking from experience, I payed much attention to class during my schoolyears.
Knowing all the things you need, even if it is at least a bit, can help you out
and that way you do not need to study TOO much.
I do not intent like, to tell you to not study, BUT to study from time to time,
In order to not "overdose" with your brain with the disciplines.

6. Aiming for relaxation.
Lighting a scented candle or incence stick, putting relaxing music on.
Aim and fight always for the best.

7. Start off by the most difficult disciplines.
Then study the ones you can master.
Due to this simple reason :
When you start off your study, you have plenty of energy, unlike the end of that time of study.
The disciplines that you do not understand as well
Will require more concentration and more energy, dedication from you.

The ones you will leave for last will be the ones you are better at
Or on which you feel you can get great grades.
You can study those just to double check the most important points.

Today's chosen subject was Family.

In my views...
Family is always a family. Always!
No matter how many argues or fights happen.
We never agree on everything and nothing.

Each member. We can all have ups and downs
But always, or almost always, they are there.
They see you, the way you are.

A family starts with love and caring
That should always be a reminder

For a Purpose. For Acceptance.
To know the "rights and wrongs"
To know what to do and what not to do or say in the future
To learn... enough that in years to come
You will know when and how to start your own.

Or if one family is rich...
What trully is important is LOVE!
Love that unites each member.
Love that keeps the family together,
Keeping it from falling apart
When troubles lie close.

It doesn't matter if the parents are straight or of the same gender. 
Gender and sexual orientation do not define parents 
ways of educating their child/children.
It is about receiving each member with open arms,

Relationships - Past

Good afternoon,
The subject for today is about Relationships and Past.

1. How does the Past Relationships affect Present Relationships?
Answer : Past Relationships may affect the present when something is undone,
unsolved or when insecurities, fears, bitterness or resentment are left along.

2. Can it be solved and how?
Answer : Past is Past. It has happened, it may have scarred and injured
BUT it is over.


"Past is not the way to go nor the path to follow. 
Past is something to see and to learn from.
Past is not the way to live or compare.
Past is lived and told by museums, not by people and relationships".


3. Any advice on how to overcome from a past relationship?
Answer : In my opinion (just my opinion) if the relationship is now part of the past,
it makes no sense to live on, be stuck at a or even try to go back to it.
For many reasons that I am going to say :

Reason number one : 
If the Relationship (regardless of being LDR or not) ended, it ended for a reason.
Relationships (whether it is boy with a girl or girl with a girl or boy with a boy)
Happen when the feelings are mutual. If one day the other part is unhappy 
Or the other part no longer feels the same think : 
Is it fair to any of you to force a relationship to happen 
If the other person is no longer happy in it?
In my opinion it it much more fair to let the person go, 
To pursue his/her own happiness, 
Even if it costs your own.

Then who knows the present and future?
Present it is that. A gift!
You can find someone and meet someone that can treat you better
And whose feelings match your own. (i.did)
And who makes you happy, loving you the way YOU are.

Reason number two : 
Sometimes (often) the "coming back together" is a mistake.
Because many times the ghost of the break up and why you two broke up is there.
It hardly fades away. The insecurity. The difficulty to trust.
And trust in your partner is needed.

Reason number three : 
If you two are back together after a betrayal (regardless of who did it) it is hard
Not to say impossible for things to be exactly the same again.

4. How to move on from that Past?

Answer : First of all you need to know and you need to find out
What was it that in that Past has disturbed you 
Or left scars in you, still visible in current relationships.

Some examples : 
Poor self esteem, insecurities whether it is dificulty to trust
Or fear of being cheated / fear of being left for someone else.
Or even insecurities about your own person may occur.

5. Even if I have any of those problems, what should I do?
Answer : First of all , talking with either a psychologist
Or councelor would be adviced.
Also, confronting the roots of the problem is probably better than avoiding the subject. 
Many times people avoid or place in the back of their hearts and minds.
When those problems are painful and hard to bear.

They simply do not want to touch them...
But they need to be confronted, otherwise it will keep hurting
And it will keep being along the way, standing in between...
(I will write more about Therapy and its objectives in another post)

It will take time to heal. But you will eventually heal and be happy
With one person you love. Which I know you can.

Good evening, fellow readers.
Here in Life Blog,
We not only want to bring awareness about one's diseases or disorders

Yet, we also aim to alert everyone
Each and every conscience, ONE BY ONE
To important (not to say essential) Humanitarian causes!

We have to open our eyes to these type of situations
Such as Natural Disasters, Poverty and Disease.
Awakening begins in each one of us.
It begins in you, it starts in me.
It starts in each one, everyone!

Just the game/experience itself can bring the person
(Maybe) to a close reality of what may have happened
in Haiti (Port-au-Prince) in the year of 2010.

This experience is more or less how it happened
You can take the role of either a Survivor,
Team Aid Worker or a Journalist on the Scene.

In that game you can establish dialogues
and make choices as if you were actually there.
It looks pretty realistic so...
I would advice people discretion while playing it

In my own views and Perspective, it also carries an important lesson along :

To SEE as if you were there.
To Be aware of others suffering.
To NOT look in one's own bellybutton
BUT to look in a wider scale and look upon others
Specially in their times of need.

Relationships - Commitment

Being in a relationship is not an obligation.
